Program #1 Movie Night

Description: Youth ages 11-17 gather, under the supervision of our volunteer staff , to watch movies that give rise to interesting and meaningful conversations.

Program #2 History Mondays

Description: Youth ages 11-17 gather with staff to discuss intriguing occurrences from past; everything has a story to tell.

Program #3 Dinner and Discussion

Description: Youth ages 11-17 work along side staff to prepare a full course meal and eat together while discussing things that are important in their lives.

Program #4 Gay Straight Alliance

Description: Youth and LGBTQ2s+ staff and ally’s embark on an evening full of acceptance and inclusion while in a safe and positive environment.

Program #5 Mystery Mondays

Description: When there is a 5th Monday in the month we something different.  It wouldn’t be a mystery if we gave away the details. Come and see for yourself!

Program #1: Gardening for Wellness

Description: Learn how sprout, root, plant,, and grow. 

Program #2: Free Guitar Lessons 

Description: Beginner and intermediate level guitar lessons hosted by Sarah Burke. Some instruments available for use.

Event: Parents Support Night

Description:  This monthly event gives us a chance to show parents and guardians in our community that they are not alone. We provide a safe and open space for them to talk, support each other, and ask the questions they cannot find answers to. Snacks and refreshments are provided.

Program #1: Big Life Talks

Description: Led by Michelle Blauvelt, Kait Smith, and Kelly Mitchell every other Thursday, the youth are being engaged in the conversations that are important to their lives in fun and creative ways.

Program #3: Yoga Expressions

Description:  Join Nanette for free yoga. Looking after your mind and body is a huge part of your wellness journey and yoga is a great tool to learn.  

Program: Just Move It!

Description: It’s been a long week, classes are out, and it’s time to unwind.  Join Justin and Barb for at The Purple House as they “shake off the week” and prepare for the weekend.  Tonight’s activities are always a surprise; movies, campfires, soccer at the park, walks through the town and much more.  There is never a dull moment at The Purple House.

You cannot miss Barb’s Purple House Famous grilled cheese Fridays.

Program #1 : Aidaen’s Angels 

Description: It’s time to give back to the community that gives so much to The Purple House and it’s youth.  Join us each Saturday as we perform community outreach projects for those that need a little extra help; writing letters to seniors, cooking for those who are unable to cook for themselves, stocking the Fence of Giving, and teaching youth the importance of being a positive part of their community.

One Saturday each month we all get together to do inventory so we can be sure out stock can support the need of Aidaen’s Place and the community we help.

Program #2 : Dungeon’s & Dragon’s

Description: Call the house or look on social media to catch the dates and times for D&D. Currently being hosted every other Saturday, D&D the newest program for 2023. The schedule will depend on interest and participation.

Program #3: Journeys with Jay

Join Junior Volunteer Jay as they take you on an adventure via book, writing, or theater. Join in our monthly book club too.
